New stuff going on...

Wow, I haven't updated my blog in 6 months! I feel bad, time goes by so quickly...
I have been really busy with work lately. A couple months ago, I went back home to St. Maarten to do a big shoot. I can't post the pictures yet, but they should be published soon. Can't wait to share them.
I'm so happy it is starting to get warmer in NYC. This was my first winter in NY and it was freezing! I'm used to the warm weather. I definitely miss living in St. Maarten, even though I go back a lot. Basically, after all this cold weather, I'm ready for another vacation!! I think in my next blog, I'm going to post some pictures from my trip to Cabo over the new year. It was sooo much fun. Stay tuned..

HALLOWEEEEEEN 2008

Hey Guys,

I really was so busy working that I didn't have the time to get a costume together. I was going to stay home, but then, at the last minute, I thought "It's Halloween - what am I doing?!?" So, I rushed out and put some stuff together. I guess you could say I was a crazy vampire.
Black dress - check!
Crazy Stockings - check!
Green cat eyes - check!
Some tears of blood - check!
Fangs - check!

I'm glad I went out. Some of my favorite costumes that I saw were: Joe the Plumber, VIP host (had to be there), and Michael Phelps (he was only wearing a Speedo!)

I also had some time to carve a pumpkin! It came out so beautifully. The bulb inside actually reflected the carved face!! You could see it through the nose. Check it out:




Next year, I'm going to have an amazing costume!!! So watch out Joe the Plumber!

Africa

I just got back from South Africa where I went on a safari. It was amazing, although I was surprised at how much the temperature dropped at night - almost 30 degrees! Check out my favorite pics:

First Riding Lesson

I have spent most of my weekends in the Hamptons this summer. And I finally got to do something I have always wanted - horse back riding!! Wow, it was kind of scary! I never realized how massive horses really are. It was great to experience their energy; I even learned to trot on my first lesson!
